All farmers have trusted us for many decades because of our understanding and good experience, which enable them to provide nutritious meat, milk, and eggs for your table.
In addition, we offer a variety of services and methods as technical services, including guidance on feeding plans, animal husbandry, nutrition, and production methods. We are currently seeking apprentices for the following positions at Meadow Feed Paarl:
- 3 (three) x Boilermaker
- 3 (three) x Fitter and Turner
- 2 (two) x Electrician
General Key duties and Responsibilities for the positions
- Participate in proper and formal apprenticeship training programs, make reasonable progress towards achieving competencies and attend the necessary training or assessments.
- Maintain, repair, and optimize plants and associated devices under guidance, adhere to workplace health and safety rules and codes of conduct, and enter into a formal learnership agreement with the business and Agriseta.
The Minimum Requirements
- The applicant should be in Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science, Technical Matric, or a National Technical Certificate (N3) or higher in the relevant engineering discipline.
- We need ambitious and dedicated candidates who are willing to seize industry opportunities and work hard.
- You must be a team player who is in charge all the time, have a high energy level and be action oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and Pay attention to detail and have the ability to complete the apprenticeship within 24 months.
