Job Overview
The candidate is responsible for supporting the internal communications head in building internal communications across the group and will manage all group-wide communications channels and internal communications campaigns.
Key goals will be to create and manage group-wide communication platforms that support efforts to build an understanding of the Omnia business strategy, vision, purpose, values, and philosophy and to make sure that we embed brand and culture in the organization through deliberate, effective, and efficient communication. Change management communications will be a very important part of the role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop an internal communications plan for the group with the Head of Internal Communications. Communications to assist drive efforts to create awareness and understanding of the group’s business strategy, vision, and purpose through effective channels
- Support internal flagship and group-wide communications campaigns with tailored and effective engagement platforms
- Support the rollout of and adoption of digital group communications channels and develop an engagement process and policy to help leaders communicate effectively and choose the correct communications platform or channel.
- Actively drive a communications engagement calendar that covers critical business issues like safety for rollout across the group and Measurement and monthly reporting on the performance of communications and reporting on the effectiveness of communications
- Actively helps the BU’s understand the importance of employee engagement and how this improves performance and drives business results, identify and improve existing group-wide engagement platforms, and collaborate with HR to drive employee engagement culture.
- Develop, manage, and enhance engagement and communication platforms to facilitate dialogue between leaders and staff that helps translate our business objectives into business results
- Develops measurement and tracking criteria and processes to effectively monitor the impact of internal engagement programmes and communications initiatives and Monitor trends to inform the employee engagement strategy and activities
The Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- BA Social Sciences, BA Journalism and BA Media Studies
- No prior experience required
